Rali Mampeule started his career in 2000 as a self employed roadside hawker selling boerewors rolls, while studying through Unisa.
It was there that he caught the attention of property mogul Charles Everitt who offered him a position as an assistant Real Estate agent at Chas Everitt International Property Group in Brynston.
The rest is history, he went on to become a property billionaire.
So what can we learn from this? Well you have to position yourself in the right places at the right time and luck might just find you.
You need to understand that luck is a product of process, action, work, and being “out there.” And when you are “out there” you stand, a chance at being in the right place at the right time.
There are right places and wrong places. The right place isn’t on your sofa watching Skeem Saam or down at the tarven getting jacked-up on Black Label while watching Kaizer Chiefs lose another game.
If you want to be in the right place at the right time, you indeed have to be at the right place and the right place knows which places are the wrong places.
If you aren’t off the couch taking action and engaging in process, you will never realize luck. Like wealth, luck is not an event but an after-effect of process. Luck is the residue of process.
