High School Donation

Its widely known that Musk has had an unpleasant time during his time at Bryanston High School, where he was constantly bullied and assaulted, to the point where he spent two weeks at a clinic in Sandton.

After that incident, his father, Errol Musk, moved him from Bryanston High to Pretoria Boys High School, where he finished his matric in 1988.

Pretoria Boys High School

From 1990 – 2009, Bill Schroder was headmaster of Pretoria Boys High School.

During his stay as the headmaster, he headed a fundraising exercise over a four-year period, where at his request, Elon Musk donated R1 million to the school.

Schroder approached Musk again at a later stage and further sent a second x-amount donation to the school.
