WHO OWNS MENLYN PARK SHOPPING CENTRE??
Up until 2014, Menlyn Shopping Centre was owned Old Mutual Life Assurance Company(50%) and Pareto(50%). During the same time, the two companies also owned 50/50 of Cavendish Square in Cape Town.
In January 2015, they came up with a swapping deal that saw Pareto take Menlyn Park Shopping Centre while Old Mutual regained control of Cavendish Square.
Now you may be asking yourself, who owns Pareto?? Well in 2021, The Government Employee’s Pension Fund (GEPF) became the 100% shareholder and owner of Pareto Limited.
