On the 27th of September, Drip Group chairman, Lekau Sehoana, shared a video post on his personal Facebook account that suggested a possible collaboration between Drip Footwear and Woolworths but didn’t give any further details beyond that point, until he received a call from the Chill & Podcast team on episode 399.
The Chill and Podcast team were actually calling Lekau on a different matter, they heard a rumor saying that a conglomerate had bought a controlling stake in Drip Group so they wanted him to clarify the matter.
Lekau disputed the claims and explained that the only time he’s talking with conglomerates is to establish a distribution through a collaboration with them, see the video clip below:
