Capitec Bank app users rushed to the social media streets to give their opinions on what seemed to be a malfunction on the bank’s app on Friday, 24 March. Users were experiencing challenges when they attempted to log into their accounts via the app.
Entrepreneur Hub SA gathered on social media that when one enters their secret pin code, the pin was declined with a red notification stating ‘Incorrect Pin – Please try again’, which obviously sent many people into panicking after making several attempts.
Without releasing any statement like before, Capitec Bank has seemingly worked on the ‘systematic glitch’ which enabled users to access the app once again.
This wasn’t the first glitch experienced by Capitec bank clients. In August 2022, users complained after failing to see their banking balances on the app.
