All the new cars that went on sale in South Africa in the last 3 months

Choosing a new car in South Africa is becoming an increasingly difficult task as the industry continues to pump out an endless stream of intriguing options all making a case as to why they should be your next purchase.

There have been 19 car launches in the country since the start of the year, including several new models as well as a number of mid-life updates to existing offerings.

Bakkie enthusiasts are arguably the biggest winners of the last quarter, as South Africa welcomed exciting new entries in the form of the next-generation Ford Ranger Raptor and VW Amarok.

Additionally, the blue oval has been keeping up the stream of new content with the launch of the Ford Ranger Single and Super Cabs, including a never-before-seen Wildtrak super cab variant.

Those who prefer a more city-oriented off-roader can also opt for SUVs like the new Mahindra Scorpio-N or the updated Toyota Fortuner.

Luxury enthusiasts, on the other hand, can pick up the new BMW X1, updated Lexus UX, or one of Mercedes-Benz’s latest offerings like the electric EQE.

The more affordable end of the spectrum saw a few new appearances, too, like the facelifted Toyota Corolla Cross family, or the updated VW Polo Vivo GT.
