Case against alleged Bester accomplices postponed

The case against Nandipha Magudumana’s father and a former G4S employee has been postponed to next Monday.

They have been charged with murder, arson, fraud and defeating the ends of justice over Thabo Bester’s escape.

The two men appeared before the Bloemfontein magistrate’s court on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Bester, Magudumana and a Mozambican national were arrested in Tanzania at the weekend.

A high-level team is in Kilimanjaro to ensure the rapist and his girlfriend are brought back.
