The Story Behind Boxer’s Iconic “Boxer Man” Logo

Did you know that Boxer Superstores’ original logo featured a muscular, masculine figure known as the “Boxer Man”? Introduced in the 1990s, this logo was chosen to personify the brand’s mission to “fight” for low prices.

The “Boxer Man” became synonymous with Boxer’s commitment to affordability, but in 2012, the company decided to modernize its brand image. Managing Director Eugene Stoop and Marketing Director Andrew Mills made the bold decision to retire the “Boxer Man” logo, opting for a fresh, more contemporary design.

Today, Boxer Superstores continues to live up to its promise of offering affordable prices, even without its iconic “Boxer Man” logo.
