The Founder of Twizza, Ken Clark, Explains Why The Brand Has Been So Successful

Twizza is a South African success story. The carbonated brand was launched in 2003 by Ken Clark, and employs 1000+ people.

After successfully running a dairy business, Crickley Dairy for a while, Ken wanted to grow his empire.

“In 2002, I started looking into carbonated soft drinks (CSDs). I went to Germany, Poland and Italy, looking at equipment, and put a plan together in 2003. Within five months, we were running a 24/7 operation.”

Twizza produces a wide range of carbonated soft drinks, sparkling water and still water, with a distribution network spanning across South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Namibia, Botswana and Mozambique.
