When the company was launched in July 2021, orders were placed exclusively through Whatsapp because of its accessibility, with payments made via EFT, online card payment, card-on-delivery with Yoco machines, or cash.
Fast forward 8 months later, the delivery start-up no longer takes orders via WhatsApp. The team developed a mobile app, built on a pre-existing framework already used by local delivery services.
